Your Role and Impact
As a Software Developer at D2L, you will contribute to a diverse range of technological areas including distributed systems, user interface development, mobile applications, and cloud computing solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance to ensure the delivery of impactful technology that reshapes learning globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing effective technical solutions by breaking down complex problems.
- Writing efficient and maintainable object-oriented code using languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
- Collaborating with technical teams to build scalable and innovative software products.
Candidate Profile
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, databases, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience in software development preferably within technology-driven companies.
- Knowledge and experience with Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Additional Information and Work Environment
D2L embraces a hybrid work model with an expectation of working three days per week onsite at the office. This role is to fill an immediate vacancy at the company.
The annual salary for this position ranges from CAD 70,000 to CAD 105,000 based on the candidate’s relevant skills, education, and experience. Alongside base pay, employees may access benefits like wellness subsidies, equity grants, variable incentives, and more.
