About the Role

Emerald Nursing is seeking CORU-registered Social Care Workers to join their Adult Services team based in Limerick. This is an opportunity to work within a well-established service dedicated to supporting adults in a person-centred, community-oriented setting. The role offers either full-time or flexible working arrangements, and allows professionals to contribute meaningfully to the independence and wellbeing of service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized care and support to adults.
  • Assist service users in reaching personal goals aimed at maximizing their independence.
  • Create and implement tailored care and support plans.
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advocate for the dignity, rights, safety, and wellbeing of those under care.
  • Ensure all care practices comply with organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of QQI Level 8 qualification in Social Care or an equivalent credential.
  • Must hold current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker.
  • Previous experience in social care is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedicated to upholding person-centred care and safeguarding principles.
  • Holding a valid driving license is advantageous.
