About the Role

MyIntegra is seeking a Regional Support Coordinator dedicated to assisting NDIS participants in Sydney and surrounding areas. This fully remote position involves some in-person visits to participants, requiring the candidate to be based in Sydney. The primary responsibility is to help participants implement their NDIS Plans by coordinating appropriate services and supports while maintaining strong relationships with relevant organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help NDIS participants execute their plans and arrange their required services and supports.
  • Perform all administrative tasks accurately and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Build and nurture relationships with quasi-government bodies, disability groups, and associations.
  • Take initiative in developing and sustaining these networks.
  • Promote MyIntegra's support coordination services by engaging local organizations such as Local Area Coordinators, Disability Service Providers, support groups, participants, and nominees, which may include presentations.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess genuine empathy and care for individuals with disabilities.
  • Capable of delivering clear presentations and responding effectively to questions from various groups, including management and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adept at engaging potential clients and converting inquiries into leads.
  • Proven capacity to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet clients when necessary.
  • Have between six months to one year of experience working as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
  • Possess Allied Health qualifications or at least a Certificate IV in Allied Health, Disability, Aged Care, or related fields.
  • Experience or awareness of complex family health issues is advantageous.
  • Commitment to undergoing an NDIS Worker Screening Check and providing a current Working with Children Check.
