Role Overview
We are looking for an on-site PR Account Coordinator located in Sydney, NSW, working full-time. The position requires creating media assets and pitching, overseeing influencer initiatives, producing social media content, nurturing constructive relationships with clients, media, influencers, and stakeholders, and supporting the deployment of PR campaigns. The Coordinator plays a key role in shaping strategies to boost brand presence and handling daily communications tasks both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging media materials and pitch them effectively.
- Manage influencer programs and create social media content.
- Build and sustain positive interactions with clients, media, influencers, and other involved parties.
- Support PR campaign execution from planning through completion.
- Assist in crafting strategies that enhance brand recognition.
- Handle day-to-day communication tasks with organization and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong enthusiasm for public and media relations with the capability to maintain solid stakeholder relationships.
- Skilled in drafting and distributing press releases and other media communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Passion for creating innovative and impactful campaigns aligned with client goals.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and how to develop compelling content.
- Preferably holds a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
- Prior experience in PR or agency environments is advantageous, though entry-level candidates with internships or related experience are welcome.
