Smart Contract Developer | Blockchain Solutions Architect

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Smart Contract Developer and Blockchain Solutions Architect to lead technical development and architectural design of blockchain-based applications. This role blends hands-on smart contract programming with high-level solution architecture, involving platform selection, system design, deployment, integration, security, and continuous improvement of blockchain projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive blockchain solutions tailored to business and technical goals.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain production-quality smart contracts using Solidity and related blockchain technologies.
• Create scalable, modular blockchain architectures for decentralized applications.
• Assess blockchain networks, protocols, and infrastructure according to project needs.
• Define interactions between on-chain and off-chain components.
• Build blockchain applications, protocols, and decentralized services.
• Integrate smart contracts with front-end UIs, back-end services, APIs, and external platforms.
• Design tokenization, asset management, transaction, and digital ownership functionality as applicable.
• Implement token and contract standards per project specifications.
• Establish best practices for secure and maintainable smart contract development.
• Develop automated testing suites including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for blockchain apps.
• Debug smart contracts and analyze failed or unexpected transactions.
• Optimize contracts for execution efficiency, storage, cost, and overall performance.
• Review blockchain code and system architecture for security, reliability, and scalability.
• Identify vulnerabilities pre-deployment and oversee remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with security experts and external auditors during contract audits.
• Design access control, authorization, and administrative mechanisms for decentralized systems.
• Assess wallet connectivity, signature schemes, custody models, and blockchain identity needs.
• Strategize integrations between blockchain networks and enterprise applications.
• Support interoperability and cross-chain integration efforts.
• Evaluate Layer 2 solutions, infrastructure services, oracles, and decentralized storage technologies.
• Define technical standards for blockchain development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technical specs, API documentation, and solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture reviews, sprint planning, and implementation discussions.
• Monitor live contracts and blockchain applications to diagnose and resolve performance or operational issues.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and lead technical remediation.
• Research emerging blockchain technologies and evaluate their business applicability.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to blockchain developers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Professional experience in blockchain development, smart contract engineering, or blockchain solution architecture.
• Advanced proficiency with Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystems.
• Experience deploying smart contracts on testnets and mainnets.
• In-depth understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed systems, transactions, wallets, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with Ethereum-compatible networks and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
• Use of development tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or equivalents.
• Experience with Web3 libraries and blockchain RPC/API services.
• Knowledge of smart contract lifecycle management and secure coding standards.
• Writing automated tests for decentralized applications.
• Aware of typical smart contract security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Understanding gas optimization, transaction execution, and blockchain resource constraints.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment procedures.
• Understanding of REST APIs, database systems, cloud services, and backend architectures.
• Experience integrating on-chain and off-chain technologies.
• Knowledge of token standards and decentralized app architecture.
• Familiarity with blockchain monitoring, analytics, logging, and operational tooling.
• Experience involved in security audits or remediation of audit findings preferred.
• Strong design thinking and architectural skills.
