Role Overview
We are looking for a Small Business Consultant to join our team in Boorloo (Perth). This permanent full-time role involves supporting business insurance customers through our contact centre by managing new policies, renewals, and adjustments while delivering outstanding service. You will also identify opportunities to enhance sales and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver superior customer service via telephone, ensuring compliance with quality and service standards.
- Handle new business, renewals, and policy modifications across multiple products and systems.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with commercial customers.
- Recognize and seize opportunities to increase sales and customer retention.
- Follow compliance, governance, and risk management procedures.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate effectively with team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in customer service within insurance or financial services sectors.
- High digital literacy with proficiency in navigating various systems and tools.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Results-oriented approach with a strong drive to achieve goals.
- Positive, team-focused mindset with a customer-first attitude.
Training and Certification
In the initial six months, you will complete the ANZIIF Tier 2 General Insurance Compliance certification, equipping you with essential industry knowledge and supporting your career advancement.
Work Schedule and Location
This position is based onsite in Boorloo (Perth), working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, starting 5 October 2026.
