Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a Guidewire Developer to enhance, develop, and maintain the Guidewire applications within our technology ecosystem. You will work within an Agile delivery team to deliver high-quality solutions, engage with stakeholders, and assist with platform stability and ongoing improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid base in Guidewire PolicyCenter seeking to expand their technical expertise collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions aligned with business needs.
- Partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to produce reliable technical deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment operations to uphold software quality and dependability.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects and live production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and adhere to best practice software development methodologies.
- Participate actively in Agile meetings including sprint planning, estimations, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2 to 3 years’ professional experience in software development or application engineering.
- Practical knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and pipeline management.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem resolution capabilities.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform is advantageous.
- Background knowledge of insurance products, especially General Insurance, preferred.
- Awareness of automation, monitoring, or DevOps tools and practices.
