About the Team
Our AI-driven search and recommendation team is dedicated to crafting groundbreaking, scalable products serving users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the operational reliability and smooth functioning of multiple core systems tied to the Viking Team's big data and online services, with a focus on capacity planning and ensuring system stability.
- Increase system transparency by monitoring system components' availability and performance metrics, enabling development teams to rapidly identify faults, especially securing critical components such as AI search and vector databases.
- Enhance the reliability, scalability, and optimize performance of services to meet core system service level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automation platforms, facilitating rapid iteration and efficient operation and maintenance of large-scale Viking and AI search clusters.
- Conduct deep optimizations of service governance based on AI Search/Viking business scenarios, including analyzing performance bottlenecks, pinpointing business issues, troubleshooting, and advancing high-availability architecture transformation and upgrades. Candidates experienced with Viking-related technologies are preferred for core optimization projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related fields, with over five years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer software, including principles of Linux operating systems, storage, and network I/O.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, Shell scripting, or Ansible, emphasizing system operation, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Volcano Engine, Aliyun, or GCP. Experience with distributed computing systems and tools like Nginx, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid grasp of algorithmic thinking along with strong data structures and system design capabilities.
- Knowledge of AI cloud technologies, large-scale model-based search suggestions, and recommender systems.
