Site Manager

Position Overview

As a Site Manager at Danam Holdings based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating construction projects ensuring their timely completion and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects including planning, budgeting, execution, and final delivery.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and financial budgeting to meet designated goals.
• Regularly track project progress against milestones and effectively tackle delays or obstacles.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and laborers to promote smooth project operations.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to verify quality control and conformity with project plans.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation such as reports, schedules, and change orders.
• Provide daily operational plans to team members through mobile communication channels.
• Monitor site progress collaboratively with team efforts and issue weekly collection plans to the finance department.
• Host weekly meetings in office to review planners and coordinate activities.
• Coordinate with administrative staff for daily and periodic reports and update finance for payments processing.
• Lead, guide, and support the construction team to enhance productivity and resolve conflicts or issues effectively.
• Stay informed on latest construction industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing construction projects with proven success in delivering on time and budget.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Indian construction processes, safety and building codes, and quality regulations.
• Competence with project management software and scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership qualities with ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in Construction Management or related fields.
• Experience handling large-scale construction projects.
• Awareness of sustainable and green building methods.
• Skills in cost and budget control strategies.
• Proficiency with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
