Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to oversee the daily execution and supervision of civil and interior construction projects. The role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, project timelines, and approved designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed site execution plans aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring they meet technical drawings and quality requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, labor teams, and internal departments.
• Track material usage, manage site inventory, measure labor productivity, and optimize costs.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), quantity assessments, and measurements.
• Inspect steel reinforcement, shuttering, alignment, levels, and workmanship standards on site.
• Ensure strict enforcement of site safety procedures and address on-site challenges promptly.
• Participate in meetings with clients and consultants to communicate site progress and updates.
• Identify potential risks, delays, or technical issues and report them to the Project Manager.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes and quantity estimation techniques.
• Competency in interpreting civil and architectural drawings accurately.
• Team leadership capabilities including labor management and contractor coordination.
• Strong skills in planning, documentation, communication, and problem resolution.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic use of AutoCAD software.
• Understanding of site measurement methods.

Preferred Experience and Domain

• Experience with preparation of BBS, DPR, and quantity reconciliation.
• Background in high-rise residential and commercial building projects.
• Familiarity with project planning and adherence to safety standards.

• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
