Job description
Position Overview
CoreCivic is seeking a Site Checker for Community Corrections in Tulsa, OK. This full-time on-site role involves ensuring the accountability and supervision of residents in a community corrections setting. Employees are motivated by a commitment to public service and professionalism, aiming to positively impact individuals and communities served.
Compensation Options
Candidates may select between two pay structures:
- With Medical Benefits: $19.08 per hour, which includes benefits such as medical coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and more. This rate is composed of a base rate of $17.75 plus $1.33 for every 40 hours worked.
- Without Medical Benefits: $22.68 per hour, excluding medical coverage but including paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and other benefits. This rate includes $17.75 per hour base pay plus $4.93 for every 40 hours worked.
Key Duties
- Conduct on-site checks promptly for assigned residents, ensuring efficient use of time and company resources.
- Prepare and submit resident discipline reports corresponding to any facility or program violations without delay.
- Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and company policies; report any violations and file accident reports if incidents occur.
- Supervise residents with attention to safety, security, and cleanliness of assigned facilities.
- Manage the checkout and logging of equipment, keys, or other materials in accordance with policies.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent credential.
- Successful completion of pre-service and additional training programs as required.
- Clear oral and written communication skills, capable of addressing complex problems logically.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old.
