Job Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on the facility's structural components and operational systems including plumbing, electrical wiring, machinery, and equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose issues in machines and equipment to perform timely repairs.
• Handle installation and repairs for electrical devices and components linked to machinery and equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities as outlined in the facility's maintenance schedule to ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversee and monitor inmates or residents assigned to the Maintenance Department to maintain safety and security protocols.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent certification.
• Possess at least two years of experience in general maintenance or construction.
• Technical or trade school coursework related to maintenance or construction may be accepted in lieu of experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferably knowledgeable in building construction and the functioning of building systems.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Compensation and Additional Information
