Showroom Advisor

Position Overview

Join B&Q Stockton-On-Tees as a Showroom Advisor working full-time at 36.75 hours per week under a permanent contract. Shifts rotate Monday through Sunday between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of 14.10 (£26,945 full-time equivalent) plus individual quarterly bonuses up to 250 for meeting targets and additional team incentives. The top 3-5% performers receive a 3,000 award.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary objective is to focus on delivering excellent customer service while supporting sales initiatives. You will engage customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate financial options, products, and installation services. Utilizing design software, you will create inspirational kitchen and bathroom designs that bring customer ideas to life. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will assist customers both virtually and in person, guiding them from initial inspiration through to project completion.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is proficient with technology and excels in communication and relationship-building skills, enabling close collaboration with colleagues and installers to ensure exceptional service delivery on every project. You should be target-driven with confidence in converting designs into sales. Being an effective team player and adept problem-solver with a strong eye for design is essential. Flexibility is required to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
