Position Overview

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the restaurant team during your assigned shifts. You will ensure seamless daily operations by motivating and coaching staff while upholding rigorous food quality, safety, and customer service standards. This role requires a confident leader who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate team members throughout the shift to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
• Supervise and evaluate team performance, providing constructive coaching and feedback.
• Consistently uphold food safety, service excellence, and cleanliness standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Support restaurant opening and closing activities as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and help manage basic stock control.
• Assist with cash handling, point-of-sale transactions, and perform routine reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols, and company policies.
• Communicate shift performance insights effectively to management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in a supervisory capacity within hospitality, quick service restaurants, or retail sectors.
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of training, coaching, and motivating team members to excel.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety practices, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
