Overview
This position is with a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not by McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions, including hiring, supervision, discipline, and staffing. McDonald’s USA does not participate in hiring decisions and will not receive your employment application.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead restaurant shifts ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service.
- Provide leadership to crew members and other managers during assigned shifts to uphold quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
- Plan and manage each shift to meet McDonald’s standards and operational goals.
- Monitor shift performance; take steps to ensure targets are met.
- Oversee safety, security, and profitability measures.
- Communicate effectively with incoming shift managers for seamless operational transitions.
- Manage inventory, food safety, cleanliness, training, scheduling, and crew performance.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- Demonstrate positive teamwork attitude with flexibility and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be a shift manager in corporate restaurants.
