Shift Manager - Fast Food Restaurant

Overview

This role requires supervising and coordinating food preparation staff in a fast food setting, ensuring quality standards, scheduling, and maintaining records. The work takes place on-site at the restaurant location in Huntsville, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement schedules to meet operational demands.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff preparing and portioning food.
• Provide training to staff regarding their roles, sanitation guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Calculate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
• Recruit and hire food service personnel.
• Ensure all food and services align with quality control standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
• Compile and submit operational reports as required.
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
• Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary styles.
• Supervise the assembly of meal trays.
• Establish and manage work schedules for staff.

Work Setting and Conditions

• Work performed solely at the physical location - no remote work allowed.

Supervision

Oversees a small team of 3 to 4 individuals.

Education and Experience
