Overview
This position is offered by an independently owned McDonald's franchise, not McDonald's USA. The franchise operator is solely responsible for employment decisions including hiring, supervision, and staffing. About the Role
The Shift Manager leads restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. This role involves guiding crew members and other managers to uphold high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure food safety compliance
- Facilitate internal communication among team members
- Manage inventory and supplies efficiently
- Oversee daily maintenance and restaurant cleanliness
- Lead and manage crew and shift staff
- Maintain quality food production standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service experiences
- Monitor safety and security protocols
- Coordinate staff scheduling and shift planning
- Conduct training and development of team members
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior leadership experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries
- Flexible schedule and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old for corporate-owned restaurant management roles
