ServiceNow SPM Consultant

Job Overview

The role involves supporting the design, implementation, and upkeep of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions, ensuring seamless translation of business needs into technical configurations while delivering ongoing assistance and improvements.

Key Duties

• Assist in configuring and managing ServiceNow SPM modules, customizing applications, forms, workflows, business rules, and notifications in accordance with approved standards.
• Support integration efforts between ServiceNow SPM and other enterprise systems, including handling REST and SOAP APIs and Integration Hub setups.
• Engage in gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting technical needs, and scripting with JavaScript to implement enhancements.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios for SPM deployments and upgrades; oversee deployments, change management, and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Investigate and resolve technical and functional issues related to SPM applications, dashboards, workflows, and system integrations, providing sustained support.
• Maintain thorough documentation for configurations, customizations, integrations, and related procedures while adhering to organizational security and compliance policies.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Between 4 to 6 years of pertinent professional experience in relevant domains.
• Familiarity with demand management, portfolio management, application lifecycle, and data analysis within ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to achieve delivery deadlines, provide accurate progress reports, resolve problems efficiently, and escalate when necessary.
• Capacity to identify and propose improvements to SPM processes, configurations, and enhance user experience.
