Service Advisor - Timaru

About the Role

Keith Andrews, New Zealand's largest Fuso dealership representing Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, and Freightliner, is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team in Timaru, Canterbury. This role offers a dynamic work environment where building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service are key. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the initial contact for customers arranging service and repair appointments.
• Provide transparent guidance regarding service requirements, durations, and pricing.
• Coordinate effectively between customers and the workshop team to streamline workflow.
• Ensure precise job documentation and invoicing processes.
• Maintain exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in a Service Advisor position or similar customer-facing role; automotive or transport industry experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable using computer systems with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to assisting others.
