About the Role
Join Auto Collective Whangarei as a Sales Manager and lead a dynamic team to surpass sales goals while delivering excellent customer service. This is a direct leadership position focused on motivating your team and driving business growth in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-achieving sales team
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to boost dealership profitability
- Set clear goals and cultivate a strong culture centered on performance
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics including conversion rates and gross profit
- Formulate sales plans and explore new market prospects
- Assist the sales team with deal negotiations and closures
- Oversee vehicle inventory, pricing strategies, and manage market demand and ageing stock
- Build ongoing customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Forecast sales outcomes and communicate results to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness and the customer experience
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in automotive sales leadership or managing dealerships
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales objectives
- Strong leadership, coaching abilities, and people management skills
- Good commercial insight with financial acumen
- Ability to confidently negotiate and close sales deals
- Customer-focused approach
- Energetic, driven, and accountable for delivering results
- Holds a valid full New Zealand driver's license
