Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established car dealership located in Tralee, County Kerry. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday and involves being the main point of contact between the dealership and its customers regarding vehicle service and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the front service desk, warmly welcoming customers upon arrival.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle check-in and return phases.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers booking vehicles for service tasks.
• Address and resolve any customer concerns related to vehicle issues and repair scheduling.
• Prepare all necessary documentation linked to customer bookings.
• Negotiate costs and timelines with customers for planned services and repairs.
• Return vehicles to customers, providing clear explanations of completed work and any recommended future maintenance.
• Handle invoicing and payment collection for completed services.
• Maintain detailed customer records and update information within the computer database.
• Accurately track stock movement in the inventory system.
• Provide precise and comprehensive quotations for parts.
• Administer aftersales tasks including processing warranty claim submissions as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable Service Advisor position.
• Strong organizational abilities with excellent management of workload priorities.
• A valid, clean full driving license is essential.
