About the Role
Our client, a reputable engineering design consultancy located in Macroom, County Cork, is seeking a dedicated Revit / CAD Technician to become part of their technical team. The role encompasses various projects spanning civil, commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, contributing to superior engineering design within a cooperative and forward-thinking consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Create precise 2D general arrangement drawings derived from 3D Revit models and 2D CAD inputs.
- Develop coordination drawings for general arrangement purposes across multidisciplinary projects.
- Manage, develop, and maintain BIM models and related documentation following company standards and protocols.
- Engage in design, coordination, and technical reviews within project meetings.
- Oversee drawing registers, including revision tracking and issue status control.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and design teams to align project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years’ experience as a CAD/BIM Technician in engineering or construction settings.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D is considered an advantage.
- Possession of a full driving license.
