Role Overview
The Senior Workday Integration Developer will be a key contributor to the HR transformation initiative by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining various Workday integrations. This role ensures smooth data exchange, system connectivity, and data integrity across all IT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deploy Workday integrations including PECI, RaaS, EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Partner with multiple teams such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity, Time Keeping, Travel & Expense, Procurement, and IT to collect requirements and design integration solutions.
- Conduct impact analysis and regression testing during updates to Workday and connected applications.
- Ensure compliance with Workday security policies and maintain the integrity of data.
- Collaborate with Workday implementation partners, AMS support, and product teams.
- Develop and update technical documentation related to integration design and process workflows.
- Stay updated on new Workday integration features and recommend enhancements.
- Manage platform tasks like Single Sign-On configuration, tenant refreshes, and certificate management.
Candidate Profile
- Over 5 years of professional experience in Workday integration development, including expertise with PECI, Core Connector, Studio, Web Services, and XML/XSLT transformations.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and security configurations.
- Knowledge of Workday modules such as HCM, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Compensation.
- Proven track record of implementing payroll integrations through PECI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing complex integration issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with business and IT teams.
- Experience with data privacy regulations, IT SOX compliance, and audit procedures.
- Leadership experience guiding junior developers and managing third-party implementation teams.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Depth in developing scalable integration systems across platforms.
