As a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager, you will lead the Adaptive Planning Professional Services team to assist clients in transforming their business planning processes including budgeting, revenue management, personnel planning, KPIs, quotas, territories, and reporting analytics. You'll lead delivery teams executing implementations across various industries and company sizes, serving as an expert advisor, mentor, and builder of Adaptive Planning capabilities both within Kainos and the broader Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current certification and expert knowledge of the Workday Adaptive Planning application.
• Manage all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projects, taking a consultative approach to transition clients from legacy models to Adaptive Planning.
• Tailor solutions based on client requirements, budgets, and timelines, remaining flexible to evolving needs.
• Facilitate design sessions, guide configuration decisions leveraging best practices aligned with client business requirements.
• Build precise forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to address client needs.
• Plan and deliver comprehensive user training sessions.
• Document planning models and reporting outputs thoroughly for client reference.
• Ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery to maximize client value.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and drive project success.
• Provide ongoing client support and act as the primary contact for project-related inquiries.
• Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports on the Consulting team, aligning team goals with Kainos objectives.
• Provide constructive feedback regularly and oversee recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and utilization management.
• Collaborate internally to share insights and resolve challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management with a focus on budgeting, planning, and management reporting preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of practical experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, or Oracle Hyperion is preferred.
• Advanced expertise in Excel, especially in designing and constructing complex financial planning models.
• Previous experience managing teams is mandatory.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines effectively.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven work style.
• Consulting background is highly desirable.
