About The Role
We are inviting a dedicated Night Shift Cleaner to join our team at the Seven Hills location. This position is vital for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our industrial food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize a range of machinery and equipment including fillers, conveyor belts, pipes, tanks, drains, and frameworks.
- Accurately prepare and mix cleaning chemicals adhering strictly to safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct safety and environmental hazard inspections within designated work areas, promptly reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, windows, stairways, and other surfaces in factory and warehouse settings using diverse cleaning equipment.
- Eliminate grease, oil, dirt, and contaminants from machinery using appropriate solvents and detergents.
- Empty waste bins regularly and change liners as necessary to uphold hygiene standards.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties within specified deadlines while maintaining precise records of cleaning activities.
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in machinery cleaning is essential.
- Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures is highly valued.
- At least three years of industrial cleaning experience, ideally within food manufacturing environments.
- Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely.
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols related to food and allergens.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Possession of a forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.
