Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Trust & Safety Analyst to support the continued expansion of the Rockstar Games Creator Platform, which includes the FiveM and RedM modification platforms associated with Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption II. In this role, you will lead complex investigations, execute impactful enforcement decisions, and assist in refining policies, operational workflows, and quality standards to maintain a secure and fair environment on the Creator Platform.

This full-time position requires working onsite at our Bangalore, India development studio.

Team and Platform Description

• The Creator Platform Team delivers technology that enables players to access community-generated content hosted on personalized dedicated servers; creators can develop custom game modes and mods using various scripting languages.
• Our mission is to ensure that user-generated content complies with Rockstar Games’ policies, nurturing a safe and welcoming user environment.
• We leverage technology solutions and processes to manage moderation at scale for user-generated content across Rockstar Games.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and expert guidance to analyst team members on complex investigations, policy interpretation, and enforcement actions.
• Track case quality, escalation patterns, and team performance; suggest enhancements to workflows, documentation, tools, and quality assurance measures.
• Examine and resolve complex Trust & Safety reports concerning user-generated content, creator behaviors, FiveM and RedM servers, community forums, and Marketplace submissions within the Creator Platform ecosystem.
• Review appeal cases and escalations from analysts or other teams; identify any errors or inconsistencies, and offer clear recommendations for appropriate resolutions.
• Conduct thorough investigations using internal tools, open source intelligence, and multi-platform data; confidently decide enforcement measures for serious, risky, or escalated violations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on policies and moderation-related matters, detect policy gaps and trends in abuse, and recommend operational improvements.
• Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure consistency in enforcement approaches and address emerging enforcement challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 4 years of pertinent experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, compliance, investigations, platform integrity, or similar operational roles, ideally involving user-generated content platforms.
• Strong expertise with policy enforcement, including interpreting and applying complex or ambiguous global safety policies.
• Well-versed in user-generated content within gaming or modding communities, or experience with large-scale UGC platforms.
• Ability to analyze incomplete, conflicting, or cross-platform evidence and effectively articulate complex policy decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities, backed by solid analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-directed yet able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the company.
• Familiarity with case or ticket management systems such as Jira, Confluence, or Zendesk is advantageous.

• Track record of launching moderation programs, new workflows, tools, or pilot operations.
• Passion for Rockstar Games and its gaming community.
• Exposure to roleplaying, gaming, or modding communities, especially related to Grand Theft Auto and FiveM/RedM.
• Knowledge of online investigations, platform abuse prevention, creator monetization, marketplace risks, or live-service operations.
