Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Parloa, you will lead a critical, cross-functional AI platform initiative ensuring high standards in quality, security, and reliability throughout the delivery process. Your accountability includes managing integrated execution plans, risk mitigation, launch preparedness, and executive-level communication to achieve successful outcomes without directly managing teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Own one or two strategic cross-organizational programs with clear business impact.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans covering milestones, dependencies, and commitments across teams.
• Proactively identify risks and obstacles, driving mitigation strategies and escalating only when necessary at the executive level.
• Set and uphold rigorous launch criteria encompassing functionality, operational readiness, and security.
• Coordinate cross-departmental release readiness involving Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Commercial teams.
• Clarify delivery trade-offs and ensure documented decisions with mitigation plans.
• Provide clear, concise executive reporting based on data and well-reasoned recommendations.
• Establish and track delivery metrics to inform objective decision-making.
• Implement scalable mechanisms that enhance planning, dependencies, and execution across the organization.
• Influence stakeholders across engineering and business functions to unite around shared goals without formal authority.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing large-scale technical programs involving software engineering teams.
• Proven ability to steer complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to launch without direct team management.
• Experience managing release readiness, including defining and enforcing objective launch standards.
• Strong aptitude in early risk detection, mitigation planning, and timely escalation.
• Technical acumen sufficient to engage with senior engineers on system architecture and deployment trade-offs.
• Skill in defining program metrics and using data for execution guidance and leadership decisions.
• Exceptional written communication skills, capable of summarizing complex technical topics clearly for executives.

Preferred Background

• Experience in delivering AI, machine learning, or large language model-based products at scale, preferably in a fast-paced growth environment.
• History of creating durable program management processes that enhance organizational efficiency.
