Senior Technical Field Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Field Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive onsite engineering support to a designated portfolio of major and complex clients. The role demands full accountability for field service activities, including advanced maintenance and some installation tasks with a lower level of complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complete field engineering services for assigned large and intricate client accounts.
• Manage all aspects of onsite service operations independently.
• Execute advanced maintenance procedures on a variety of products and undertake straightforward installations when needed.
• Offer technical insights and feedback on equipment, systems, and operational processes to enhance service quality.
• Utilize advanced technical tools and expertise to troubleshoot client issues and perform scheduled installations.
• Recognize and address systemic challenges impacting the service team.
• Provide proactive technical support and guidance to fellow team members.
• Assist in refining client service reporting and documentation.
• Monitor technical and process-related matters, promptly escalating improvement suggestions to management and the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Technical certification or an Associate Degree may be necessary depending on specific needs.
• Typically requires between 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
