Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure peak performance and safety.
- Carry out service assignments strictly following instructions from headquarters and internal procedures.
- Lead regional field service personnel by delegating tasks, supervising daily activities, and providing technical mentorship to uphold service quality.
- Support and guide team members on accurate work order handling, documentation, and reporting workflows.
- Serve as the primary contact for emergencies in the region, coordinating quick response efforts to reduce downtime and operational disruption.
- Maintain proactive customer relationship management, resolving technical queries, and owning customer satisfaction across the region.
- Offer expert technical consulting and troubleshooting both on-site and remotely to end-users, dealers, and distributors.
- Collaborate across departments regarding quality, system performance, emergency procedures, and support activities like data gathering, quality correction, and system commissioning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering disciplines.
- At least three years of practical on-site experience in battery technology or automotive industries.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing utility-scale energy storage systems (BESS) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of battery structure, common failure mechanisms, and maintenance techniques.
- Basic electrical expertise coupled with familiarity in after-sales service workflows; practical experience in battery maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, comfortable with frequent business travel and adaptable schedules, able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, adept at preparing technical reports, and liaising with various stakeholders while driving resolution of complex issues.
- Fluent professional command of English and the local language is required.
