Senior System Engineer

Role Overview

Nextwo Co. seeks a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to lead the management and development of our Microsoft identity and messaging platforms. This role entails administration of Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, and DNS, ensuring these services remain secure, stable, and comprehensively documented. The position involves tight coordination with security, network, and helpdesk teams to address complex authentication and connectivity challenges, as well as overseeing infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain, and improve Active Directory including organizational unit structures, Group Policy Objects, replication processes, and site topology configuration.
• Handle ADFS operations for federated authentication and single sign-on, and govern Microsoft Entra ID for conditional access and hybrid identity integration through Entra Connect.
• Administer Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments, managing mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, and distribution group configurations.
• Manage and troubleshoot both internal and external DNS services.
• Continuously monitor performance, security, and overall health of Active Directory and associated identity systems.
• Organize and conduct system upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments for Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, and relevant infrastructure.
• Resolve complex issues related to authentication, identity management, and connectivity.
• Keep comprehensive documentation and runbooks; collaborate effectively with security, network, and helpdesk teams; participate in on-call rotations as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in systems engineering or infrastructure-related administration.
• Bachelor’s degree qualification.
• Possession of Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator certification.
• Proficient hands-on expertise with Active Directory, ADFS (including claims rules and trust configuration), Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Server and/or Exchange Online, and DNS.
• Solid experience administering Windows Server environments and scripting automation using PowerShell.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Fluency in native Arabic and advanced command of English for professional communication.
