Senior Structural Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy firm located near the South West London and Surrey borders. This position involves handling structural designs and analyses for various building materials across diverse project types including high-end residential, offices, healthcare, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires experience with design software such as TSD and Tedds to develop technical drawings, specifications, and material selections. You will be responsible for advancing projects from RIBA Stage 3 to completion, working alongside Associates and Partners, as well as mentoring graduate engineers.

The employer is a multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in high-end residential developments, new office buildings, schools, and healthcare projects. They provide strong support to engineers pursuing chartered status with MICE or MIStructE.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status or actively working towards MICE or MIStructE accreditation.
• More than 3 years of UK consultancy experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with structural design software such as TSD and Tedds.
• Experience with detailed structural design and structural analysis across a broad range of materials.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and possess a full clean UK driving license for site visits.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with contractors, clients, and other consultants.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is negotiable based on experience, ranging from £40,000 to £70,000 per annum, plus pension contributions and additional benefits.
