Role Overview
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership to provide rigorous commercial insight supporting smarter business decisions across the group.
- Operate at the crossroads of strategy, performance, and capital decisions by owning key planning and forecasting models.
- Interpret complex financial and operational data to generate clear commercial insights.
- Influence and elevate strategic discussions rather than just reporting data.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts, including cashflow and covenant analyses.
- Manage and improve the group's comprehensive integrated financial model and performance frameworks.
- Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to pinpoint drivers, identify risks, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Produce executive, investor, and lender-ready board reports and analysis.
- Conduct return on fleet asset (ROTA) evaluations to guide capital allocation and product strategies.
- Support investment case development, pricing strategies, fleet planning, and strategic projects.
Candidate Profile
- Commercially savvy with a passion for deeply understanding the business.
- Inquisitive and analytical, comfortable delivering insights to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning & analysis, management accounting or corporate finance with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in advanced financial modeling, including investment appraisals, returns assessments, and scenario modeling.
- Strong collaborator with business leaders, confidently providing constructive challenges.
- Familiarity with financial platforms and business intelligence tools such as Adaptive, NetSuite, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Possession of a finance degree like CA or CFA is preferred but not mandatory.
