About the Role
MADE New Zealand is a dynamic and rapidly growing food company in Aotearoa, renowned for brands such as The Collective, Moogurt, Rokeby, and Cocobella. This role is a central and influential position bridging Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain and enhance financial models, scenario planning, and related analysis.
- Manage the complete Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, collaborating closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Deliver insights related to pricing, margin, volume, as well as customer and product profitability.
- Develop business cases and perform financial evaluations for prospective opportunities.
- Drive improvements in reporting, data accuracy, automation, and tools that support business decisions.
- Communicate transparent insights, highlight risks, and present recommendations to senior leadership stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a commercially savvy finance professional who can delve deeply into data details while maintaining perspective of the overall business context.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- More than five years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, commercial finance, or business partnering.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, or integrated business planning.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to robustly challenge stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear and practical strategic recommendations.
