Senior Statistical Programmer

Role Overview

As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of programming activities for complex clinical studies, acting as the Programming Team Lead on your assigned projects. You'll manage everything from database integration to producing statistical outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multifaceted clinical programming projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and deploy sophisticated macros, tools, and process enhancements to boost programming productivity.
• Collaborate closely with statisticians, data management teams, and clients to ensure high-quality and smooth project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior programming staff, fostering growth and expertise within the team.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks by developing programming specifications, documentation, and related study deliverables.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience in statistical programming within clinical trial environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro.
• Experience in R programming and ADNCA for pharmacokinetic analyses considered advantageous.
• Strong foundational knowledge of clinical data, statistical methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• In-depth understanding of CDISC standards, particularly SDTM and ADaM.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of independently resolving complex technical problems, leading initiatives, and adapting to evolving industry standards and technologies.

Additional Information

The recruitment process will include three interview rounds. Candidates requiring sponsorship to work in Australia will not be considered.
