Your Role and Impact

As a Senior Staff Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the features of semiconductor chips manufactured by Marvell for both internal and external customers. Your key goal will be to ensure that no underperforming units are shipped. Collaborating closely with design teams, you will verify the testability of chip features and ensure test outcomes align with customer requirements. You might also develop new codes or testing strategies when chips surpass the current limits of testing equipment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on platforms like Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne, ensuring cutting-edge quality standards.
• Design and innovate high-speed test hardware for ATE, pushing technological boundaries to prepare products for future demands.
• Develop thorough test plans and documentation that meet precise product specifications to guarantee superior product quality.
• Engage in collaborative reviews of test plans and testability with DFx and Design teams, aiming to improve yield and testing methods.
• Translate test patterns from design simulation environments into formats suitable for ATE, bridging the gap between design and production test phases.
• Drive optimization of test flows by reducing test durations, eliminating redundant steps, improving yield, and launching production test programs alongside product engineers.
• Pursue opportunities for professional growth by leading expansive projects and increasing responsibilities within Marvell.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines; Master’s preferred.
• Proven expertise in test program development on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience in ATE testing, including test methodology, silicon processing, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++, Perl, Python, and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
