Job Overview

The Senior Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in addressing complex client challenges and facilitating significant enterprise deals. Working closely with enterprise sales teams and channel partners, this role involves deep customer engagement to understand their needs, deliver persuasive product demonstrations, and help close business opportunities. The position requires technical leadership in solution design and the ability to advocate for customers internally based on gathered feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate strategically with sales teams to uncover customer business challenges and outcomes, mapping these to Atlassian’s solutions.
• Identify opportunities for expanding usage across Atlassian’s product suite to enhance customer value.
• Analyze technical constraints and pain points to devise effective solution strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Atlassian products, articulating their role in enhancing collaboration.
• Conduct engaging, value-based demonstrations that highlight the impact of Atlassian’s software on team productivity.
• Provide technical guidance on implementation best practices to ensure customer success.
• Build strong relationships with sales counterparts to streamline and optimize the sales cycle.
• Collect and share customer feedback and competitive intelligence to influence product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or client-facing roles within technology vendors or tech-centric organizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of Atlassian’s product ecosystem and its application in solving sophisticated business issues.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful technical demonstrations and leading evaluations.
• Capability to identify expansion opportunities aligned with customer objectives.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at influencing technical and business audiences across various levels.
• Collaborative and pragmatic problem solver, committed to execution and continuous improvement with a hands-on mentality.
