Senior Solar Technician

Job Overview

The Senior Solar Technician role involves routine upkeep including cleaning, maintenance of solar modules, and executing technical work onsite. Additionally, this role includes supervising junior technicians and managing activities of non-technical team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating, scheduling, executing, and reporting on solar installation and maintenance work.
• Performing electrical tasks involving installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs related to both AC and DC systems.
• Leading a team composed of junior technicians and non-technical personnel to ensure smooth site operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical work, particularly involving AC and DC equipment.

Technical and Interpersonal Skills

• Proficiency in using smartphones and mobile applications relevant to fieldwork.
• Sound knowledge of AC and DC electrical equipment handling.
• Experience with testing instruments such as multimeters and telecommunications systems diagnostics.
• Capability to operate robotic module cleaning systems.
• Demonstrated communication and leadership skills necessary to manage multiple team members effectively.
• Project management expertise and strong problem-solving abilities.
