Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for an ITI Electrician to support our Smart Metering Project in Ludhiana, Punjab. This role involves installing, replacing, testing, and maintaining smart electricity meters with adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance of smart electric meters.
- Carry out electrical wiring tasks, including meter terminations and performing basic troubleshooting for issues.
- Handle both single-phase and three-phase meter connections accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of installations and ensure compliance with safety and personal protective equipment guidelines.
- Work closely with supervisors and coordinate with customers on-site to ensure smooth operations.
- This is a field-based position requiring travel within the designated service area.
Requirements
- Hold a qualification of ITI Electrician.
- Possess 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in electrical meter installations and maintenance.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this position ranges from INR 15,000 to INR 21,000.
