Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking an ITI Electrician to join our Smart Metering Project team. The ideal candidate will have an ITI Electrician qualification and be ready to take on a hands-on field role involving the installation and upkeep of smart electricity meters within the assigned geographic area.
Key Duties
- Carry out installation, replacement, testing, and maintenance activities for smart electricity meters.
- Perform electrical wiring tasks, execute meter termination, and troubleshoot basic electrical faults.
- Manage the connections for both single-phase and three-phase meters efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of installations and strictly adhere to safety protocols and personal protective equipment guidelines.
- Maintain active coordination with supervisors and customers during on-site operations.
- Be prepared for extensive fieldwork requiring travel within the designated area.
Job Requirements
- Mandatory qualification: ITI Electrician.
- Experience ranging from freshers up to 3 years in relevant electrical or metering tasks.
Additional Details
This position involves regular travel within the assigned territory and requires strong adherence to safety and customer service standards.
