Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in Sydney to join our team. This role demands extensive expertise in developing applications within a .Net ecosystem, focusing particularly on C# and ASP.Net Core technologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all stages of agile software development, including system design, coding, and deployment activities.
• Implement and maintain applications using .Net Core technologies (C# / ASP.Net Core).
• Develop and optimize data management solutions, primarily using SQL Server.
• Utilize ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core for database interactions.
• Build and consume Microservices APIs using REST principles and JSON data interchange.
• Apply unit testing practices, preferably with frameworks like XUnit, to ensure application quality.
• Apply design patterns where applicable to enhance software architecture and maintainability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years in software development with significant exposure to the .Net environment.
• Proficient in C# and ASP.Net Core development.
• Experience writing complex queries and managing databases using SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of Linq for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with ORM technologies, particularly Entity Framework Core.
• Hands-on experience in developing Microservices and building RESTful APIs with JSON.
• Experience in unit testing using XUnit or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of common software design patterns preferred.
