Senior Software Engineer – Java (Back-End Developer) - Cash Management

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Java back-end development with significant expertise in banking domains, particularly digital banking and cash management solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Design and implement robust Java/J2EE applications incorporating Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Develop scalable RESTful services and microservices architectures ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work effectively with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, or WebSphere for deployment and maintenance.
• Leverage strong database skills in MySQL and SQL Server, optimizing queries and boosting database performance.
• Utilize web technologies including JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support integrated solutions.
• Execute system integration tasks using REST, SOAP, and enterprise messaging frameworks.
• Apply API security protocols, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, ensuring secure coding standards.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment, adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
• Employ CI/CD pipelines, version control with Git, and follow DevOps methodologies to streamline development processes.
• Address production issues via root cause analysis and optimize solutions for performance enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintaining excellent communication and delivering defect-free solutions on schedule.
• Work hands-on in Linux/Unix operating environments.
• Experience in enterprise integration, middleware technologies, and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

Domain Expertise

Extensive background in banking and financial services, particularly with digital or internet banking platforms, is highly preferred. Familiarity with banking regulatory compliance and security standards is essential.
