Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary Product and Technology teams to deliver high-quality software that provides a delightful customer experience.
• Decompose complex and unclear problems into well-defined technical strategies and actionable tasks.
• Advocate and implement standard coding, testing, and deployment practices within the team.
• Develop clean, structured, and cohesive software solutions consistent with the technology stack, frequently deploying to production environments.
• Proactively identify and address system-wide issues that span multiple teams or pods.
• Take full ownership of delivery outcomes ensuring dependable, high-quality releases in alignment with team objectives.
• Ensure production-readiness of solutions, including setup of monitoring, alerting, and operation documentation such as run books.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing support via pair programming, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern full-stack web development, particularly with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, focusing on user accessibility and end-to-end customer-facing applications.
• Proficient working knowledge of Python is valued.
• Well-versed in AI concepts and agentic system capabilities, ensuring safe and scalable product implementation and actively using AI tools to enhance individual and team productivity.
• Experience with system infrastructure and platform integration, including embedding shared platform services into live products and enhancing core developer environments like CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and developer tooling to improve reliability and speed.
• Familiarity with Design Systems, component-based architecture, and responsive and accessible UI design patterns.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating across teams, obtaining technical consensus, clearly communicating complex technical decisions, and effectively mentoring junior team members.
