Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams while exemplifying strong engineering standards and teamwork principles.
• Develop a clear understanding of customer problems and success metrics, ensuring delivered features address these effectively.
• Decompose work into manageable, verifiable slices that can be evaluated by any stakeholder.
• Independently deliver well-defined features to production, adhering to the existing technology stack and design guidelines.
• Implement user interface designs with high fidelity, ensuring accessibility, responsive behavior, and comprehensive handling of empty, error, and loading states.
• Develop and enhance backend-for-frontend (BFF) endpoints using C# to support feature requirements.
• Operate proactively by assigning clear tasks and context to team members, authoring tests based on requirements, and validating outputs prior to release.
• Make reversible deployments by default, escalating any potentially irreversible or costly changes appropriately.
• Lead smaller projects including task planning, conducting stand-ups, and maintaining communication with stakeholders.
• Deploy and maintain the features you build, participate in on-call support, implement infrastructure changes with guidance, and monitor both system health and customer outcomes.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance team workflows and product quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering customer-facing features to production using React or Next.js along with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in building APIs with C# or another backend programming language.
• Fundamental knowledge of accessibility standards including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and ARIA implementation.
• Strong planning and execution skills that balance delivery speed with quality while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Ability to design simple, secure, and maintainable solutions avoiding common vulnerabilities.
• Active participation in team technical discussions with awareness of system dependencies.
• Use of tests, metrics, and dashboards to enhance product quality and reliability.
• Commitment to deep code understanding, fostering improved judgment and autonomous productivity.
• Supportive team member who engages in peer reviews, shares knowledge, and helps align team goals.
