Senior Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Our client, a prominent organization in the Asia-Pacific region, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer skilled in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The engineer will operate within an agile, DevOps-driven setting, responsible for both frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and ensuring strong application security and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs and manage databases to support application functionality
• Handle data transformation, flow, and cleaning; design, develop, and deploy databases and datasets including operational data stores, data lakes, and data virtualization
• Own the full lifecycle of application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure seamlessly
• Create and maintain responsive, accessible, and efficient web applications
• Construct modern frontend architectures emphasizing reusability, scalability, and security
• Build reliable, secure, and observable backend services and APIs with high performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack software development
• Proficiency in modern full-stack web technologies including JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js
• Competence in backend technologies like Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services using serverless technologies (e.g., ECS Fargate containers, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, Networking)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL or Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab
• Experience in Government Cloud Environment (GCC) is a plus
