GenAI Business Analyst

Overview

An established Asia-Pacific organization is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in generative AI (GenAI) to support AI-driven projects and initiatives within the enterprise. This role requires technical expertise alongside strong collaboration skills to drive AI adoption in business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage technical knowledge and apply industry standards to support and deliver AI-related projects.
• Work closely with both business and technology stakeholders to identify and facilitate AI adoption opportunities in various business functions.
• Collect, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, converting them into clear functional and technical specifications for AI solutions.
• Assist in managing AI project plans, defining timelines, resources, and risk factors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Promote effective communication and teamwork among stakeholders and project teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Track, evaluate, and report on the performance of deployed AI systems, recommending ongoing improvements.
• Assess and support the integration of GenAI technologies such as large language models, AI-augmented workflows, and prompt engineering within data science products and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure GenAI deployment complies with governance, ethical standards, explainability, and audit requirements set by MAS frameworks.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Data Science teams to build and deliver enterprise-grade data science platforms and products.
• Partner with these teams to define, pilot, and scale GenAI-enhanced features, translating business needs into AI product requirements and success measurements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree holder in Business Analytics, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis, project delivery, digital transformation, data analytics, or AI-related roles is preferred.
• Strong analytical aptitude with proven problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Knowledge and experience with data analysis and query tools such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, statistics, and data visualization practices.
