Senior Software Engineer C++

Role Overview

We are seeking Mid and Senior C++ Engineers to join a high-performance cryptocurrency trading team in Dubai or remotely. This role focuses on building and optimizing ultra-low-latency trading systems, maintaining exchange connectivity, and developing market data infrastructure critical to advanced crypto trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain robust connections to cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Design and enhance components for market data and trading systems.
• Optimize latency-sensitive code paths down to microseconds and nanoseconds.
• Implement new functionalities directly into live trading systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within high-throughput production environments.
• Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and fellow engineers.

Candidate Profile

• Mid-level candidates must have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience using C++.
• Senior candidates require at least 8 years of professional C++ expertise.
• Proven track record working on systems with heavy loads and stringent low-latency demands.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and networking concepts.
• Prior experience in trading, market data processing, high-frequency trading, fintech, cryptocurrency, or similar performance-critical industries.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of FIX protocol, WebSocket APIs, and Kafka messaging systems.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with cloud and monitoring tools such as AWS, Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana.
• Experience with DPDK or kernel bypass techniques to enhance networking performance.
• Hands-on exposure to exchange connectivity or trading system development.
