Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend development, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs. You will collaborate closely with engineers across the stack to deliver new features, maintain existing integrations, and ensure our platform scales smoothly with growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate complex backend functionalities.
• Maintain and improve current integrations while anticipating future product needs.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and developer experience challenges.
• Contribute to the advancement of engineering processes and technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining large-scale software systems.
• Proficient with React, Node.js, and TypeScript or similar technology stacks.
• Passionate about integrating AI into software workflows and staying attuned to its evolving landscape.
• Experienced with asynchronous message queue systems.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other document-oriented databases.
• Strong grasp of data modeling, ETL processes, and optimizing data architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical topics in business terms.
• Open to candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, including self-taught and bootcamp graduates.
