Primary Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain quality, scalability, and reliability of software.
• Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and standards.
• Lead technical discussions to propose impactful solutions that enhance team productivity and meet company objectives.
• Drive innovation by initiating improvements and fostering a culture of efficiency within the team.
• Analyze complex problems and deliver effective, robust solutions aligned with team goals.
• Independently manage medium-scale projects or components from inception through completion.
• Proactively identify areas of improvement and contribute to technical strategy discussions.
• Share expertise and best practices to promote a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
• Mentor junior engineers by offering guidance and constructive feedback to encourage professional development.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering peers to relay technical concepts clearly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 7 years of professional experience primarily focused on backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker.
• Expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, including tools like AWS Code Pipeline and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledgeable in subscription technologies such as WebSockets and Publish/Subscribe models.
• Skilled in TypeScript, GraphQL, and database systems including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and ability to excel in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical approach to addressing complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Motivated attitude coupled with a desire to learn emerging technologies to evolve as a full-stack engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Svelte and SvelteKit or server-side rendering frameworks like React with NextJS, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
• Proficiency with JavaScript fundamentals and tools like Storybook.
