Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
• Deliver efficient and clean code following established best practices and standards.
• Lead technical discussions and suggest solutions enhancing team effectiveness and supporting organizational goals.
• Take ownership of medium-sized projects or key components from design through deployment.
• Analyze complex issues to devise practical and impactful solutions aligned with team initiatives.
• Drive innovation and improvements to optimize performance and workflow within the engineering team.
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related experience.
• Proven hands-on experience in software engineering, emphasizing backend development.
• Proficiency with Node.js, microservices architecture, containerization with Docker, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in subscriptions technologies like WebSockets and Pub/Sub, TypeScript, GraphQL, as well as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch databases.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
• Strong grasp of software architecture and design principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Effective communication skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to broaden technical expertise and step into full-stack responsibilities.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with front-end frameworks, especially Svelte and SvelteKit, or alternatives such as React with NextJS, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
• Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and related tools like Storybook.
