Primary Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance software aligned with project and company standards.
• Develop and drive the technical vision, strategy, and architecture that supports business goals.
• Manage and implement robust event-driven data handling at scale.
• Enhance existing systems for improved performance, scalability, and reliability, addressing bottlenecks effectively.
• Participate actively in hands-on coding to guarantee code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring and guiding engineering team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of direct software engineering experience, specializing in scalable system design and development.
• Proficiency with modern technology stacks including JavaScript, Go, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript, design patterns, WebSockets, and Pub/Sub communication models.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capability to excel in fast-moving environments.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and documentation standards.
• Analytical thinking for resolving complex technical challenges and innovating solutions.
• Experience offering technical leadership and mentoring within engineering teams.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Positive mindset with enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies and growing as a technical leader.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in senior engineering roles such as Staff or Principal Software Engineer at large-scale product companies.
• Background in developing web applications and debugging issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like AWS Code Pipeline and GitHub Actions to automate deployment workflows.
